Stumbling around the elevated quarters of Oxford, I was lucky enough to visit the Treasures exhibit in the Bodleian Library. It is a small but incredible collection of some of the Bodleian’s - indeed the world’s - finest and rarest books. 
When I see ancient bones of our once earthbound cousins, it is sometimes difficult to feel their magnificence. It is when I see the strokes of their pens; their very thoughts put to page, that I feel a real connection with their history.

The Morning after the Deluge: "Languages of Colour" - Call for submissions: poetry, prose, non-fiction and art work

Do things with colour? Write about it perhaps? Maybe submit some work for this then! I might, if this cold ever leaves my poor head.

I’m growing increasingly enchanted by the work of Rrose Sélavy. Her illustrations for ‘The Sail’, an extended poem by Greg Allum (available for pre-order here) are delightful, as are the other examples of her work I’ve seen.
